I don't wear a watch anymore, as of about 3 years ago. The battery died and I never replaced it. When I did wear a watch, it came off at bedtime. I now use my cellphone to tell time--and I carry it with me wherever I go, even in the house. My sewing room is downstairs and it saves my arthritic knees from having to go up and down too many times if I want to talk to my DH. I make sure that something I am wearing has a pocket and the cell phone lives there. I also don't wear my wedding rings most of the time--my fingers swell and it makes it hard to get them off. I do wear my rings when I dress up though.

I wear my watch all day and night just in case I want to check out the time during my frequent night time trips to the bathroom, LOL! Really, it's just a habit.

Earring don't stay on my ears for long, I wear clip ons and they hurt after a few hours. Never did get my ears pierced. I think seeing gals doing it with a heated needle in girls bathroom in high school turned me off on the process. May in Jersey
