took me a minute. Grew in teenage years in South Jersey at the shore and we never spoke like that. lol I spent way more time in GA than anywhere else
I fail miserably as a southern all around . I cannot even tolerate sports of any kind.

;-) From a fellow Miss Cotton Blossom, thank you for posting!
Unsweet tea is a communist plot introduced in America to undermine the integrity of the American family...The only good use for it is to tone down any sweet tea you run into that got extra sugar (I don't remember if I put in one cup or two...oh well, another cup won't hurt) ;-)

These gave me a good chuckle. I moved from MI to TX in 1977 & had a heck of a time understanding some of the people at first. I will say though that in MI we also say crick, but in TX I was adamently told it was pronounced creek! I was also told by a co-worker that to become a true Texan I had 2 choices - (1) I had to wait 10 yrs or (2) I could enter Jose Perez' jalapeno eating contest! I told him I would just wait the 10 yrs, thank you very much! LOL I lived there for 17 yr and would move back tomorrow if I could.

This is so funny, because I am from the south, born in NC and have lived in the state always. We have some neighbors that come from NY, and they still don't " get it" our way of life is different from what they were use to. We are working on them still.
