So sorry to hear your mishap.
Sounds like you'll need to get a new keyboard. I hope it's not on a laptop. In the future, might I suggest using an auto cup where you can close off the top. If you're prone to spills then I might also invest in a plastic cover. Keyboards themselves are not that expensive.

A new keyboard sounds in order. I just had to replace mine because the W stopped working. Not sure why since I didn't spill anything on it. They aren't very expensive at all and I love the feel of my new keyboard better than the old one.

When a spill happens grab your hair dryer at once. Turn your keyboard upside down and dry with the dryer. It may not work but at least it is a quick solution.
I once spilled coffee on my laptop at work. I took it home and used my hair dryer on it. The laptop worked for about 6 mos. then stopped. The computer guy thought maybe it had been left in my car to many times had moisture over time. Whew!! Should have had the dryer sooner.
