I remember when our five kids were younger and my husband would be over the road driving truck, sometimes the most optimistic thing I could think or say was, at some point this day will end and tomorrow is a new beginning. Give yourself a pass and tend to your heart.

I had that day yesterday. I have a DD who does not drive but thinks I should still play Taxi. She says," I need to go to walmart to get stuff for our tree." Who can refuse when 3 little GK are involved. But she took so long that I barely had any time at all in Joanns. Bad,Bad Girl

I have 3 grown boys, and I hear ya! Well, actually, my youngest is a senior in high school, but close enough to being an adult.
My 2 older boys, ages 22 and 20, do NOT get along at all and somehow, I end up in the middle! I tell them both I am NOT taking sides, they can either get along or do NOT come here!
My 20 year old is in the Marines, so he stays here when he visits. I told oldest son not to come over until his brother leaves with friends or goes and visits people.
It sucks! I get so fed up with it! The would still argue over the color of a matchbox car if it meant they could fight! LOL
And you wonder why I am moving to Florida?! LOL To run away from adult men who act like kids!
