ST. LOUIS — An apparent tornado tore through a section of St. Louis' Lambert Field on Friday, lifting the roof off a concourse, injuring several people and forcing the airport's closure.

Planes were diverted to other locations as emergency crews probed the debris for more wounded. Mayor Francis Slay said Lambert would be shut down "indefinitely."

Thank you for allowing us to pray for them, too, and for the "heads up" to anyone going there for Easter!

It appears from the news there were no serious injuries at the airport. There is extensive damage to Concourse C and many, many cars parked in the lots. People who parked and flew out for Easter may come home to a nasty surprise.

Other residential areas of St. Louis were damaged as well. It has been a rough week in this area. (I'm 50 miles from St. Louis.)

The airport may be at 70% capacity tomorrow afternoon. God was certainly watching out for the people in that area. There was slight wind damage and power outage in my area, but we were very fortunate.
