Stabilizer question
I was looking at sew-in stabilizers today and came to a rather cheap conclusion. The part of a bed ruffle that covers the box springs appears to be made of something that looks the same as several stabilizers I looked at. I can get the bed ruffle for a $1 vs from the bolt for a whole lot more. There looks to be 6 yards or more total in the ruffle + the fabric around it as a bonus. Is this feasible or am I way out in left field?

I was thinking I could use the fabric to make curtains or other decor items. I was just wondering if the stuff would work.

If you are talking about embroidery stabilizers, then yes, it should work. I learned about 'alternate' embroidery stabilizers on a different board, with soil separator (sewer cloth, like a plumbing sewer) being a great alternative. You can get a 150 foot roll for under $20 at lowes.
