Thanks for the update. My husband was going to Staples and I asked him to pick up a package of Frixion pens for me. No one at the Staples he went to had any idea what he was talking about - it's a large store and is always busy.

Just order them online. All of the office supply stores carry them on-line. Most offer free shipping with as little as $35 in the order. I usually buy one of the small cases of paper for the printer at the same time. I hate to have to lift it in the cart, then the car and into the house. MUCH easier to just have it delivered to the door.

I use the FriXion pens to mark on fabric -- making HST/QSTs, flying geese, quilting designs, etc. The markings "disappear" when you apply heat. There is always the disclaimer to test the marker on a scrap of your fabric to make sure the marking disappears. When you apply heat, you may still see a slight discoloration on the fabric, which is the chemicals in the ink, but the chemicals are removed when you wash your quilt.
