It could have been the hot water that did it.
I always wash in cold and when I give the quilts, I always tell to wash on cold too. I have actually sewn a "how to wash" label on some of them. They fold right up under the "signature" labels I make

Terri that is wild I wonder how they were able to breed the horse to get that coloring and markings ? And it looks so tiny :lol:
