Everyone lives such different lives, but finding that time to commune is SO important. Each will find it in his own way - yours sounds particularly peaceful.

Well said... I was just saying today that I thought life would slow down more than it has after semi-retirement...

Now with your telescope... Be sure to take a look at Albireo (not certain of spelling)... it is a really beautiful double star found at the "foot of the Northern cross"... or the southern-most star of Cygnus the Swan... One of the stars is yellow and the other is blue.. quite a sight...

    You've challenged me... thank you!!

I believe that is what is wrong in the world, we don't stop and enjoy our moments. We don't appreciate the natural beauty around us. We are so busy wanting more, we don't enjoy what we have.

Thank you for sharing your story. I try to give thanks and show my appreciation each day, several times a day. Smelling flowers is one of my main things to do!! I hope you have a long fruitful, healthy, prosperous life and smell all the flowers along the way. Happy star gazing too!!
    Blessings, RMW

Billy I agree.....just stop and relax and let God. What will be will be but we can appreciate and love what is in the now. Whatever answer you recieve, I will def be keeping you in my prayers that you will be just fine. You have so much inspiration to share and so much to do. Remember...today is a gift,a present. Love it & embrace it.

    Huge Hugs!

    Billy,
Faith will get you though this, and I just got word last week that I don't have cancer. I know it was Gods will.
My prayers and friendship are with you Billy and I know what you are going thru.

I am so guilty of not stopping to smell the flowers...I am a doer...constantly.....I need to enjoy the simple things more.
