i am not sure what group of girls this print is still popular with, but not any young girls that i know. there are so many new (and updated) characters to choose from these days i wouldn't even be tempted to introduce strawberry shortcake to any little girls today.

my little girl likes strawberry shortcake but we dont have a tv so she is a bit limited in what characters she is exposed to. but i think strawbery shortcake has a lasting appeal. i know a few girls who are crazy about her though most of them are under five years old. walmart has quite a bit of clothing out with her on it if thats any inddication of trends.

Me, too... she reminds me of when my DD was little. She was a HUGE Strawberry Shortcake fan & it just makes me smile to see her little red head these days... LOL!

We have Strawberry Shortcake cartoons on a couple different stations here in San Diego - so she is still popular here.
