And remember ----- God brought you to it, He will get youthrough it. You are so blessed to be doing advocacy for Children. Those with little or no voice, need all the help they can get. Your experience and dedication will show on your resume, and it will all work out. Try to be positive and keep smiling, never let them know you are scared.

I knew I could count on everyone's encouragement and suggestions. It is definetely the unknown aspects that have me and my co contractors nervous. I know that things will work out the way they are supposed to, they always do. They just don't always work the way I wan tthem to! :0)I'll be polishing up the resume today and submitting my actual application this weekend. Then I guess it is out of my hands. "Thy will be done." The prayer that never fails!

Lots of good advice here. Worry doesn't help, prayer does, then let it go and do your job now to your best ability.

I know what you are feeling, I am in a similar situation. Unemployment amount, looked at savings, etc. PT job etc. just in case. Get your ducks in a row and you will feel a little better. One door closes another one opens, you would be surprised.

b.zang Thanks for your post. I can certainly benefit from looking at it that way. I have stress over how much we're paying in taxes this year...and our health care costs are now over $1,000/mo.

MNQuilter you just be sure to take care of yourself. Give yourself some time to enjoy the important things in life. Going for a walk is an excellent way to relieve stress. I hope you can do that.

    Let go and Let God.
Give it your best, but not your stress.
We all tend to stress over so much more than we need to.
My dept manager has to reapply for her position that she has held for 8 years! They are condensing the dm's - she's up against her BEST friend for the same position. But she is taking a positive attitude. Letting go and Letting God.
Easier said than done, but it does work.

    God bless.
