My only child is a senior in high school this year and I'm stressing out with all that goes with it! I'm in charge of the class After Prom party, have a dance recital to choreograph, and then graduation open house. What keeps me sane is quilting--it's my little escape!

Enjoy it while you can! Soon your baby will be gone then you will wishing you could do some of it again just to have your baby home just a little longer.

The answer to being in charge and succeeding is to delegate, lol! Enjoy your senior year all over again.

I hear ya, but I agree with Willa, she'll be out on her own before you know it and you'll wish for these days again. I miss having my 23 year old son around. I miss the baseball games every other day, bowling tournaments, you get it. It was really hectic but I wouldn't change a thing.

Good luck with the choreographing of the dance recital.

I agree... either the hum of the sewing machine or the up/down/up/down repetition of the hand/needle/thread (I hand quilt)... lulls me into "stress free happydom" ... hooray for quilting!
