a teacher in my HS was October Frost. Moved to VT, there is a local dog trainer named April Frost.

Re the kid named Precious - it seems some people pick a name for the baby without considering it will grow up to be an adult. Others consider it an adult from the start, how can you name a little baby Farnsworth or some such name?

Years ago, I was a campfire leader and had a girl in my group whose name was Summer Day. My DD went to school with Itsa Crowe.

How about Le-ah....pronounced "la dash ah". And apperently that Mom wanted to sue because no one at the kids school could pronounce the name.
and Abcde...alive and well in Fredericton N.B

Up here we have Tigger, Peekaboo and Bubbalou.
I have heard of Donald Duck and more than a few Elvis's.
Then there is Caltoris,,,Clitty for short.

So glad my Mother stopped with me. She wanted to name us after the Dionne quads. I got Annette for a middle name. But then again, Wanda Marie, Dixie-Lee and Sandra Dee are our names. I am the only one who got stuck with the middle name.

Then again Mom's name is Minnie.

    LMFAO

When we were expecting a new grendbaby my DIL calmly tells me that they have picked out baby names. For a girl they had picked "Indy Anna",
    Our last name is Jones.
she was joking and we had a BoY!

I work in a school and I think the strangest names I have heard was a boy named Sixx, a little girl with the last name of Katz and they named her Allie (Allie Katz), and a boy who's last name was Munk and first name of Chip (Chip Munk). What are people thinking?

I grew up with the name Bambi Waylene Schlameus! Kind of like "A Boy Named Sue"--you get tough early.
