Once you work for the school system you will know what odd names are

La-mon-jah-l0 (Lemonjello) and O-ron-jah-lo (Orangejello), lemon and orange jello

Fi-mal-lee (Female), the family first language wasn't english

Johnquail(John Quail) & Jonquil, they were named after street signs.

    I personally knew a kindergartener named Sha-heed spelled Shi*head.

    Forgot one!

    E-phant (Infant) again, ESL

Their mom is going to have a hard time keeping them straight and not stumble on her tongue when calling them to dinner!

Oh yes I pity the poor teachers now who have to figure out how to pronounce the new names, the spellings, if it is male or female etc.

I could of swore you lived in my town.....I worked for the Welfare Office for almost 30 years and these are some of the names I saw also. We really got some weird ones, I remember one name that had EVERY letter of the alphabet in it and the mother couldn't even pronounce it.

I forgot that we also had a lady who named all of her kids devil names....Lucifer, Demon, Satan and there were a few others that I can't remember. But we just couldn't believe someone would do this tho their children.

I agree with cjomomma: These triplets would not be happy with their names!

But you asked what my stupid late-night thoughts are... who's thinkin' at this hour? Since we're talking odd names for triplets, how about...
    Phyllis, Dilys and Amaryllis?
    Horace, Horton and Hortense?

Oh We had one like that. His father didn't even know how to spell it. We all called him AJ. His middle name was Jehosephat.

Can't say too much, I have a cousin who is named Samantha Emmaline followed by a big long Polish last name starting with KW and ending with SKI and all kinds of letters in between, lol

I never liked my name so I wouldn't put it on my son...but he used it as a middle name for one of his twins...poor baby....I rad that you never want to name a child that would cause the child embarrassment...A co-worker of mine way back in the 70's whose last name was Flower named his daughter PURPLE

My cousin named her daughter after a singer she liked at the time. Teeocha Marie is her daughter's name. It's pronounced Tee ock uh It's an American Indian name I believe. The girl is in her 30s now.

Seems the most recent trend is giving first names that sound like last names... like McKenzie - that's the only one I can think of cuz my brain is sleeping, like I should be!
