Subject lines---would anyone else find them to be more helpful if they were longer such as the one I'm posting now? I'm continuing to type here in the subject line just to give us all a feel for how much room we have on a title line for a new topic.

So many times I click on a thread, read the first post then head off to something else simply b/c I'm not interested.
this is a very busy board - I do not keep up with everything. I've learned how to mark things as "watched topics" so I can maybe go back and find something but many times I lose a thread never to find it again....;)

I've wished many times that subject lines were more descriptive. I read on an iPad while traveling and I sometimes have a slow internet connection. It would help to have a better idea what the topic is sometimes. Also, it can be annoying when some topics seem to be impulsive brain farts with no real purpose; i.e., "I'm alive and I know how to type."
