Out of topic I know, but I just adore the pic of the pussy cat in your avatar, is it yours?

I agree. More than one line to read in Subject line and I would probably move to the next one.

I think this is great - they are short, yet informative of what the post is about.

So many times I click on a thread, read the first post then head off to something else simply b/c I'm not interested.
this is a very busy board - I do not keep up with everything. I've learned how to mark things as "watched topics" so I can maybe go back and find something but many times I lose a thread never to find it again....;)

If the subject line is too vague, I don't open the post, nor do I open the ones asking the same question that has been asked (and answered) several hundred times.

I've wished many times that subject lines were more descriptive. I read on an iPad while traveling and I sometimes have a slow internet connection. It would help to have a better idea what the topic is sometimes. Also, it can be annoying when some topics seem to be impulsive brain farts with no real purpose; i.e., "I'm alive and I know how to type."

Our search function would be more useful if the titles had some meaning.

One last thing...please when you post a picture of your quilt, include the name of the pattern or even post a link to the pattern to avoid pages and pages of people asking "What pattern did you use?"

Okay, I must be cranky..so I'll stop now.
I agree with all of your suggestions it would be so helpful in the "search"

How about enough detail in "classifieds" to save time looking --
instead of just "looking for", the title could say "looking for angel pattern" or "looking for this fabric"?
