I currently use a Canon digital camera that I've had for years and years and would like to update, and gee, Mother's Day is just next month. (Too bad my sons aren't members of QB) Does anyone have recommendations on cameras--ones you like and don't like?

    Thanks.

I like the Nikon Coolpix, very user friendly.

My DDs gave DH a Nikon D7000 for his birthday. It takes beautiful pictures. I lose too many cameras to have a nice one. A small Cannon Powershot is the one I use now and I have no idea where it is. It takes very good pictures. I found an old Kodak digital in the car and it still works great but uses batteries and they don't last long at all.

I got my Nixon cool pic L22 at Wal Mart for $79.; plus a card for $9. that will take up to 400 pictures on the card. Its my thrid one and I love it.

Yes, you can spend more, but this fits in my purse and travels with me. Good luck with whatever you decide is right for you.

I use a Nikon D40 and absolutely love it. It is a digital SLR but it can be totally automatic. Here is one of my favorite pics. I am no photographer, but this camera is so great and easy to use.

Panasonic Lumix is very good. They have better versions of it out now, but this is the one I bought earlier this year:

(This is an inexpensive pocket sized camera.)

We bought the Panasonic Lumix FX18 a couple Christmases ago...love it... It's 18x zoom and a photographer friend of ours said it was one step below his professional one. He highly recommended it.
