In 2 weeks we are "moving" to Williams, AZ to spend the summer. It will be a lot cooler there than where we are in Pahrump, NV (109 today). Williams is a unique little town and the gateway to the Grand Canyon. We have spent time there before and love the area. Normally we would have "moved" by now but everyone kept telling us June was not bad here. Triple digits and I do not do well.

Summer's onset - my SIL's 60th birthday. She lives in Ft Scott, KS. Has never been to an opera or to Santa Fe, so my gift to her is a trip next month to see La Boheme, then I will drive her back home. Probably my one road trip for the year. Sooo excited for her!

Finish moving stuff from pointA to point B-Then fishing -playing in the lake-fishing-then playing in the lake- A trip to Missouri to fish and play in the Nianqua River for a couple weeks then back to Oh to fish and play in the lake and some piecing in the evenings.. Summer time and retirement go well together :) :)

Sell our house, lake property, and anything else we can. Want to down size to a trailer. Enjoy the warm weather when it shows up :)

Maybe a new roof-but def new floors. Last summer, I. that reads, I...crawled around & layed wood parquet because DH said I had a better eye. Did 2 bdrms and plan to do 2 more this summer. It was "reclaimed" & had to be refinished. I amaze myself sometimes and then the sore muscles bring me back to reality!

My little "Quilt Shop" where I create and quilt has ac so I'm going to quilt, quilt and quilt. I'll throw in lots of reading in the evenings. I enjoy it a lot. Both the quilting and the reading.
