and it hasn't even started yet...
The 2010 Atlantic Hurricane Season starts June 1st. NOAA expects busy hurricane season. Predictions: 14-23 named storms, 8-14 hurricanes and 3-7 major hurricanes. If this prediction hold true, this could be one of the most active seasons on record. For more information visit www.nhc.noaa.gov Please make your plans now for the 2010 Hurricane Season.

I don't pay too much attention to the hurricanes. In Michigan, we only get a little wind and rain from them. Nothing like the gale force winds they get from them down south. Up here, we pay more attention to tornado predictions.

Here in Ky the weather have been pretty screwy already. We have had a lot of rain already with flooding in some areas. The ground is saturated it hasn't had time to dry out. Each day we have a chance of rain all week. Tho I don't mind the rain cause it brings the humidity down.

I don't like the predictions this year, but I don have my hurricane kits ready. It's the boarding up the house and bringing EVERYTHING in from outside that I find tiring. Hopefully things will blow in a different direction other than SouthEast Florida. XXX(fingers crossed)
