I'm very happy without it - we are thinking of stopping our direct-tv, and just go with local channels, forget paying so much and recieve nothing in exchange for the big bill. We are as low as we can go now - and still have nothing - it is worse now than ever;

My husband practically OD's on the Patriots football team, the pre-game, the game, the after game, the wrap-up, etc., etc. Drives me bananas. He takes over the living room, so I go to my room to sew (hopefully), but there are times when I just want to relax in the recliner and read a book, but not with the game on. Oh well, what are you going to do - my daughter and son are almost as bad. Although Sunday my son said he was going to tape the game so that he could study for his class the next night. He's married, has 16 month old Zoe, holds down a good job, although he spends 2 -3 hours a day commuting and has gone back to school 2 nights a week. I'm so proud of him and he is the best husband and Dad ever.

I love football, pro or college. I look forward to it every year! Go Pittsburgh Steelers! Go Nebraska Cornhuskers! My husband watches his favorite teams on his tv and I watch mine on my tv, works well for us.
