Can't wait to try this pattern as I have 5 kitties. I have lots of fleece scraps to use. I have found, when piecing cotton, what I cut off goes into a big container. When it's full, I pour out a little pile on cutting board & use rotary cutter every which way to make tiny pieces... Great for stuffing, then into grocery bags to use later. ** Caution, you just might have a mess on floor)**

One of the reasons I posted the link to this was because I have two kitties and how they love the snuggle of these so easy and practical beds are. I've thought about keeping the scraps and using them too so thank-you for reminding me of that. Your cautionary warning is to late for me, as it seems that my floor is always needing to be swept of stray scraps and threads :0) I'd love to hear how your kitties love their new cuddle zones. I think that scrappy pillows are most excellent.

I have one very spolied and loved Burmese that LOVES warmth and fluffy. This looks like a great bed that will solve the problem of who gets the warm fluffy blanket at tv time at night ..... the cat or the hubby! These two fight over the blanket or the heating pad... Trust me the CAT wins ALOT . LOVE the cat and dog group photo.... such a great laugh! Our critters really do over rule us humans!
