Saturday will find the full moon appearing nearly 4 times larger or so we are being told. It's just due to the orbit it's in in relation to the earth. It's going to be beautiful I'm sure.
But....
I'm so very happy I'm not working in the ER or Maturnity room anymore.
The full moon always made for busy days and especially nights and early mornings. Babies are delivered so easily and frequently! Whoa Nellie!
Those who have raised chickens probably can tell you that the egg shells of hatchlings are really rather cleanly "cut" where as on dark nights the shells are really jagged.

It's true about many babies being born on a full moon. I used to work in a hospital and it happened all the time. Plus 3 of my four kids were born under a full moon. It has something to do with the gravational pull.

My hubby and I are going to the beach and watch the moon come up. The weather is going to be great for viewing, so I hear from the weather station. The moon, a little wine, some eats and hubby...can hardly wait to see the moon.
