I just loved that story, moonpi!!!
It reminded me of how worried I was over grandbaby #2.
Her mommy and I thought she could talk but wouldn't at 2 1/2.
We were at her grandfather's wake...her dad's dad, my SIL. , and I saw her being carried around by an older cousin of hers, but she didn't see me.
We have great nana to grandbaby chemistry here.
I came up behind her and tapped her on the shoulder. She turned her head, looked at me, looked at two aunts and shouted:
That's my Nana! and away we went, jabber, jabber, jabber!
I guess they just know when they are ready :thumbup:
