Wal-mart Great Value brand blue packets for iced tea and Kool-Aid. Half sugar and half blue packets for baking.

I use only Stevia, i think it's the only natural sweetener on the market. Some manufacturer has taken it apart so they can get a patent and calls it something else, while claiming it to be "natural" which I won't buy. And I've read that High Fructose Corn Sweetener is like fertilizer for cancer cells. (I have personal experience in that)

So I'm trying to either use plain old sugar or Stevia..it's hard to get away from all the rest. Even Agava is bad for Diabetics.

But I'm trying to use less and less of any sweetener, my former hour glass figure has dribbled down a lot of sand over the years.

I use the local sugar when i can get it. It tastes the same as cane sugar but its made out of sugar beets. Plain ol brown sugar aslo. I dont care for honey to much cept in BBQ sauce( i make homemade) or in a honey chicken recipe. I love using molasses. I have a rare , hm not sure if its a disease, condition where i have to eat sugar daily. Nope im neither hypoglycemic or diabetic. My body doesnt use my sugar it spills it, LOl so i have an excuse to eat sweets everyday.

I only use sweeteners in BBQ sauces and sweet tea. Depends on what the recipe calls for or what the restaurant uses in their sweet tea.

Never had sugar in the house until I had to bake for someone else.

I use Splenda for coffee, tea, cereal. I use Splenda Brown Sugar Blend for hot oatmeal and cooking.

I use pure maple syrup in my baking. My Dh uses it in his coffee and all his marinates for meat. Your body digests it much easier because it is all natural and it is better for diabetics.

I want to try Stevia but, I can't understand why it seems to be so expensive. Maybe I'll break down and try it soon.
