SWIFT KICK FOR MOTIVATION

dakotamaid,
Great idea, wouldn't be as time consuming either.Do you use regular 100 % cotton fabric for your pillowcases? Awe, I could make my grandbabies one each to use for the holidays! A Halloween one and a couple of Christmas ones. My grandson is going to be 3 next month so he would get a kick out of that . My granddaughter just turned a year old :) Thanks a bunch for the idea. I do have a serger that has been sitting for YEARS! I think I've used that maybe 3 times. Ughhh

Becky,
Please check back and hit me in the back of the head again soon! This coming week I'll get cracking. Tomorrow my sister-in-law is getting married and I'm too tired right now....excuses, excuses...hehehe.

I went to visit my mom in the nursing home recently. This little old lady, 90 something, came by and asked if I had a butt kicker. I asked why and she said "So you could use it on me and get me going!!!" Now I don't think you need one of those at all. Just jump in and sew a few seams and you will get right back at it. Wishing you the best.

I find that when I need some motivation, I go and pull a few fabrics that match nicely from my stash. If you don't have one, check out the pictures on the board and find something that catches your eye. Then it's off to the fabric store!! So, I'm giving you a gentle "push" to get you started! I have found loads of motivation on this board, but if I'm feeling lazy, it is far too easy to spend most of my time here!! Turn off the computer and get going girl!!
