Yes. I work in a hospital and come into direct contact with the patients so I will get it to protect myself and my family.

No untill they know the long term reactions and the side effects I will make sure I have stuff to fight fever and dehydration.

Yes. Have any of you heard of a shot for Shingles? It suppose to help you not get it.

Yes I would take the vaccine because I am extremely immune challenged and lung disease and require the use of oxygen, so I wouldn't survive a bout of the swine flu.

I will do whatever my rheumatologist suggests. I have lupus and fibromyalgia and my immune system is wacky. My DH probably wouldn't get it, even though he also has fibromyalgia and is diabetic. He just doesn't get vaccinations. I usually get a flu shot every fall, although I didn't get one last year. I was very immunosuppressed due to having chemotherapy infusions trying to kick my lupus into remission. Didn't work, darn it anyway. I've since stopped the chemo and am back to just enduring the pain and fatigue of the lupus itself. Hoping new lupus or fibromyalgia treatments will be FDA approved sometime soon.

Yes, there is a vaccine for shingles, it is called Zostavax, recommended for those age 60 and up.
And, yes, I will get the H1N1 vaccine.
