Too cute! Reminds me of my wonderful proposal. We went to visit my sister, who didn't have the greatest thing going on. My hubby says, "Will you marry me? I don't want you living in a dump the rest of your life!" Then he added he loved me, LOL!

In my neck of the woods, from my generation, local dialect, it's
"goose pimples" aka "goose bumps" aka "goose flesh".

When the bird is plucked the skin shows raised bumps or pimples where the big feathers were pulled. I 'spect a goose being a big bird had big pimples. When humans are cold or frightened or emotional, our hair stands up and raises skin, too. We resemble the plucked goose.

I really liked the respect this young man showed by asking for her hand!!!!Do not let my daughters boy friend see this! (not at this time maybe later)He would try this. She would love it but... He found out when she was a little girl, a little friend kept taking all her crayons and finally took the sharpner. My child said she would not have a boyfriend or even date a boy unless he had a pack of 64 crayons with a sharpner on the box! When her boyfriend ask her to the prom he found a collectors edition; big display of crayons, took her to a overlook in the mtns.gave her the wrapped box, sit down beside her, took her hand and ask her to the prom. These are such sweet times!
