My daughter (both times) started labor hard enough to go to the hospital at bedtime (10 pm) and then fooled around all night and didn't have them until the a.m.--I never will forget her SLEEPING while I was walking the floor....

I didn't want my mom at the hospital so I'd be braver...but she knew when I left because she drove by my house! But, labor was 28 hours...so no news for a long long time. She was so sure the second would be faster. Nope. 26 hours. The second was 4 lbs heavier though. That's why we have only two kids. ;)

My labor was really fast. Had a dull backache all day. At 5 pm, pains were 5 min. apart but still not hard. My dad finally talked me into going to the hospital -- I had made up my mind that I WAS NOT going to have that kid (LOL). Anyway, she was delivered at 8:30 p.m. that same evening.....

If she loves horses enough to go sleep in the barn with them, I don't think the other gma has a chance!
