True. I remember laughing at the new birthing rooms all decorated just so, and the details couples wanted for the experience. Me? All I wanted was to get the baby OUT. I didn't care where I was or what the surroundings looked like. I wanted just my husband to be there, but I wanted to talk to my mom first afterwards.

Rachel was 10 lbs 11.5 oz. I had bruised bones. I didn't even like her for two weeks. She interrupted my life with the prince! No one ever talks about that kind of stuff and I'd never read it anywhere. My doctor says that's so common. I wrote about it in my book though. Moms ought to be prepared for this stuff. So--any mother to be who reads my book will know!

I agree----something best remembered in your mind rather than a hard copy video or stills........

Glad she's doing well.....although, by now she must be exhausted.

(and she wondered why they called "labor".....)

Oh the thought of a photographer at that moment.....no thanks, but to each her own! I know you'll be so glad to have those babies OUT...and your baby doing good along with 2 new little ones to love on.... It seems like we are doing another mare stare thread here...don't tell your DD that though...we certainly aren't comparing her to a mare!!
