We're going to a wedding this coming weekend and since we're up that way we should check out what's around? That's Wolverine in the lower peninsula. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Definitely Ben Franklin in Gaylord (east of the 75 freeway on W. Main Street) And definitely The Quilt House in Indian River (4819 S. Straits Hwy - a little house on the east side of the street).

There are a couple others in Gaylord but I've never been to them. My sister has a cottage on Lake Wildwood in Wolverine. Where is your wedding?

The wedding is in Vanderbilt on the family's property. It's going to be like a hoe down. Should be interestings. My aunt lives in Boyne falls so we're going to visit her. I know there's a shop in Petosky. I'll let you know what we find.

Have a great time. Hopefully it will be a little cooler up there.

We'll have to plan another get together sometime. I've gotten a couple of PM's from other Michiganders asking when we're going to do it again.
