Gee, I thought it was just me ! I keep setting goals....go to church, come home, change clothes and sew; oh want to look at paper to see where sales are; oh need to run to Publix for a few things; oh, need to put chicken in crock pot; oh need to get trash out to dumpster; oh my gosh, I can't seem to get myself to sew....

Someone said we are not in a boat we in a huge ocean liner and I'm right there !

I spend a lot of time here on the board. I can't get motivated until something is almost done... then it sits on the cutting board waiting for me to finish. So I guess I'm not that motivated after all. Guess I'm part of the crew.

OH MY! I know exactlly what you mean. My problem is that I enjoy sewing, quilting, crafting so much that I tend to think of it as a guilty pleasure insteasd of maning ends meet in the budget. I wil NOT go to the shop unless my work is done in the house. There's never that much to do!! It can wait a week and then I could take a dasy and do it all but noooooo, the guilt of enjoying myself keeps me in the house doing STUPID busy work!! That's so sad

I think this is a problem that artistic people have. We have too many things going, we can't decide. And then there is the word "perfection" lifts his ugly head into it. AND then there is daily things to be done. Golly, what do I do first?

I totally understand...I am making myself finish something before I am "allowed" to start another...it works for a while...I am getting things done. Then I get bored and again I waver...but I am improving...I really like seeing the finished ones.

After reading and contributing to this thread last night, I stopped putting it off and went upstairs and did some sewing!
