Me, too! Let's make it a quilting cruise and all bring our UFOs!

Seriously, what works for me: a LIST that I can check off as I finish, and DEADLINES.

But I am happy to say, I have finally finished my Board name quilt block, she's now my avatar. Was she a priority? Nope. But I wanted SOMETHING finished, and she was the smallest project.

So, HERE IS MY PROPOSAL: make a list of UFO's. Pick the UFO that will be fastest to complete, and work on it till it's done. Cross it off the list. Now, won't that feel good?? Start the next-closest. Keep at it this way, and once you see progress you'll feel much better.

But I still wanna go on the quilt cruise to Alaska. Sign me up!

It's going to be Easter by the time I work on my Fall coasters. Don't sail off without me.

I am sooooo glad to know I am not alone. I keep telling myself I am stocking up for when I can no longer afford to buy. Hmmmmm, I may need another storage shed soon.....LOL

You sound like a lot of us. It's time to get some direction into your life. Set a deadline to finish at least 1 of your favorite projects. We had a UFO Challenge in our guild. Every other month a project was due on your list. If it was completed on time and within the boundaries of the rules, you were entered into a drawing. Let me tell you, a lot of projects were completed and the prizes were great! The guild is going to do it again this year, because so many of us have so many more projects!

If you do not belong to a group willing to do this, do it yourself and with each project completed reward yourself with something special (not another project!).

I saw a list somewhere on how to get your projects completed and one of them was to "say NO to any more projects."

sigh... sorry to report that having a small stash does NOT help this problem...

    I'm aboard this liner, too....

    sigh...

Not strange at all in my book! I'm in the same boat!
