Allison Krauss "When you say nothing at all"

It's amazing how you can speak right to my heart
Without saying a word you can light up the dark
Try as I may I could never explain
What I hear when you don't say a thing

    Alan Jackson "Remember When"

Remember when I was young so were you
time stood still love was all we knew
You were the first, so was I
made love and then you cried
    Remember when
Remember when we vowed the vows walked the walk
Gave our hearts, made the start, it was hard
lived and learned, life threw curves
There was joy, there was hurt
    Remember when

    Enya "Only Time"

  :D :D :D Allison krauss played at our wedding
and Alan Jacksons' song makes me cry everytime I hear it.

Come Monday, it'll be all right
Come Monday, I'll be holding you tight
    I spent (?) lonely days in a brown L A haze
and I just need you by my side.

Forgive me Jimmy Buffet its early and I am blank on all the words, but I really do love this song.

    Time after Time
    I tell myself that I'm
So lucky to be loving you.

    So lucky to be
The one you run to see
In the evening when the day is through.

I only know what I know
    The passing years may show
You've kept our love so young, so new
    And Time after Time
    I tell myself that I'm
So lucky to be loving you.

My husband's and my song - 50 years!

Please google Time after Time - Frank Sinatra

Please also google Fly Me Up to Where You Are -Josh Groban

Those are my two favorites. Edie

These are the lyrics that twist my heart every time I hear them. We lost our youngest daughter and these lyrics are what is in my heart.

I never knew til you were gone
how many pages you were on
it never ends I keep turning
and line after line and you are there again
I dont know how to let you go
you are so deep down in my soul
    I feel helpless so hopeless
its a door that never closes
no I don't know how to do this

    I've talked to friends
    I've talked to myself
    I've talked to God
I prayed liked hell but I still miss you
I tried sober I tried drinking
I've been strong and I've been weak
    and I still miss you
    I've done everything
move on like I'm supposed to
I'd give anything for one more minute with you
    I still miss you

Yes, we have an amazing daughter with Schmidts Syndrome. She is employed full time as an Administrator, travels constantly and is the biggest risk taker I have ever seen. She has literally been at deaths door due to her condition but is a real fighter. She was given 6 mos. to 3 years when she was 20. She is now 48. "I did it my way" would difinitly be her song.
