I agree, i would like to be able to just look at maybe yesterday and todays posts instead of going through a bunch of pages looking for todays topics. It just seems like i am on here a lot longer every day looking for new posts.

Thank you! This sounds feasible. I will try it.

I have been using the Archive selection at the bottom of the screen/page. I think that does it fairly well.

This board is wonderful and I am sure I will find out all the little tricks to make it completely comfortable again. Thanks for working so hard on it.
I agree with you. I look at the date, trying to avoid old topics. It was so much easier before but I am sure they will, in time, rectify a lot of our problems. This is a big transition and will probably take time to iron out all the problems.

I changed my settings also to just "from the last day" because I'm always on here at least once a day.

I also check out the topics I like to read on a separate basis...like main and vintage machines and swaps. Haven't been checking on pictures posted because it seems to take 'forever' for them to open.

I wish the topics would disappear once they were opened - instead of just changing color and boldness in font.

This is how I do it, also. Once I get to familiar looking threads or to the time I know I last checked--I'm done.

See first paragraph on Daily Digest (opening page that we see every time we sign in). The last sentence says, "you can check out recent topics listing". Just click on "recent Topics" in that sentence and up pops New posts from the last day. Hooray! Probably not the computerese way to do it, but it works for me.
