I agree with you - add to that list fire ants and water moccasin snakes.

Just my short list! I just don't like creepy bug things. It may be that they won't hurt me, but they make me hurt myself!!!
I love the "sound" of the Cicada. We had them last year and they sounded so soothing.

I just thought of another bug I wasn't really keen on. Someone tell about the love-bugs in Florida. Edie

oh, man. my husband was a biology teacher for 30 yrs and i taught pre-school so we had a huge variety of "pets". one of our ball pythons is now 24 yrs old and living with ds#1. we had tarantulas--very meek little beasties (and terrified of june bugs and anything heavy-footed, so stamp your feet and they run away). we had rats, mice, gerbils, hamsters, ferrets, rabbits, turtles, lizards (including a uromastix (sp) named precious because he was so ugly we were trying to raise his self esteem, and the odd guinea pig and hedgehog. my least favorite was the hissing cockroach.

I agree I can't handle any oof the above I totally freak out.
I was working out in the yard pulling weeds, well I thought it was a worm one of those icky long red ones can you tell I don't like worms either? anyway it ended up being a red snake about 2 ft long. That was the last time I pulled weeds. I might be a total wimp but I well pass on all of them. kjym Kathy
