Default For those that use Amazon Prime and Acorn TV

Here are a few series I recommend. I liked them all.
    Pie in the Sky
    Hamish McBeth
    Loch Ness
    Agatha Raisin
    Trapped
    Fortitude
    Delicious
    Comedy must see:
    Parents
    Nothing Trivial
    Trivial (different from above title)
    Detectorists
Ladies in Lavender ( Judi Dench and Maggie Smith, can't get any better than that)
    800 Words
    Ladies of Letters

And so many more wonderful series on Acorn TV through Prime. Nothing like them on American TV.

So can you explain how this works? We have a subscription to .Amazon Prime, do we need to subscribe to Acorn as well? I love British t v and see many shows on your list I'd enjoy. Thank you!

Thanks so much for the list. I really like British TV, and so many of them look good - especially the one with Judi Dench and Maggie Smith.

Between Netflix, Amazon Prime, and MLB (so I can get the Yankees games) I hardly watch anything else, I'd like to ditch cable altogether.
    Thanks for the list!

Amazon has many subscription tv services to choose from. Acorn, HBO, Showtime, etc. Acorn is about $5 a month. Cancel anytime. You don't need cable to get the premium channels you want. You can get Acorn TV without having anything to do with Amazon. Free trial here:
    https://signup.acorn.tv/?gclid=EAIaI...SAAEgLyK_D_BwE

Buy a Roku at Walmart and get all the premium channels you want, no package deal, no cable. Stream Amazon Prime if you have that with Roku too. Hundreds of free channels too. Roku is a one time price. No monthly fee once you buy it. The Roku stick is easy if you want to change it to different tvs.

I really liked Jericho and Brokenwood Mysteries. So many good series on Acorn TV.

If you have wi fi then all you do it plug the stick into the usb port on the back of the tv. Plug the end of the cord in the wall socket and you are all done. Follow the online instructions. I think the last one I bought ( I have several different Rokus) was about $30 for the stick.

Easy to find the Roku that's best for you:https://www.roku.com/products
