    Hey that is a good idea. I don't do big quilts but I have designed houses for hotpads and used to make them to sell. I could use this birdhouse as an inspiration for one of my hotpads! Great idea!

    Aww, that's cute. If you put threads out for the birds, make sure that you cut them really short.

    So cute I love the little house, but do be extra careful of any
    thread as it can get wrapped around a baby birds foot and
    they can end up with a toe are nails torn off are worse a cut off leg
    altogether, and the fabric gets wet and doesn't dry out and can weight there nest down witch falls and breaks the eggs.
