You are really missing out, if you haven't read "The Left Behind" series. The first one is "Left Behind."
Unfamiliar with either those authors or their works. I prefer mysteries or historical fiction myself. I have never seen a sewing machine or decent fabric at any of the thrift stores or Goodwill stores in the vicinity. Either I am getting there after someone else has purchased or none have been donated.....maybe someday....I will find a "treasure", but in the meantime it is "fun" to look around.....

One, I have the whole series that I have read through twice already. Two, was in thrift store two days ago and someone donated several things that were sitting near the counter. I asked if that was someones pile and the clerk said no. Well then I just had to ask How much do you want for that box. $2.00/box, needless to say I walked out of there with this med. size box full of FABRIC. Some I can use and the rest will find happy homes.
