As someone who is involved with organ donation that was truly a touching story. I see parents of children making that decision with love for their own children. God bless those who choose to give life to another in need.

My DD passed away 4 years ago & I donated her body. I went to a doner family memorial service last Oct. They also had quilt squares made from family members - mine was a picture of Heather. The organ doner services forwarded a card for me, but I haven't gotten a reply from a recipient. Would really love to have a story like yours to share.

I hope everyone on the board is an organ doner -- so simple to do -- when you get a license renew just ask them to put the sticker on the new license.

I took care of a man who had received corneas from someone. He had burned his eyes in a lab accident. It is usually only the corneas that are used so there is no concern about the eye colors -- if that makes anyone feel more secure.
My first DH had a rare brain tumor and donated his body to a medical school so the students could perhaps recognise and help another person.
