Goosebumps and tears - how blessed to be thought of by someone in need and being able to honor the request. Blessings to you.

What a beautiful story, I would feel honored to be asked to make the block as well, but I would have a dilema as to how I would do it.

I recently saw a story on Dateline (or 20/20 or one of those) where a mom donated her daughter's organs and then later went to see the heart recipient. His mom was a nurse, pulled out her stethoscope so the donor's mom just sat and listened to her daughter's heart beating in a very grateful young man for awhile.....what a moment for all!

What a wonderful story. Such a special gift. I'm sitting here with tears running down my face just thinking about the painful loss this mother has had. I know since I lost my only daughter 7 yrs. ago when the Dr. didn't take her to surg. after a head injury.
At least the mother knows her son lives on through the man's eyes. Bless all of you.
