I think sniffing is something everyone does...my cats even come up to me on the bed to sniff my nose, eyes and hair before they settle in for the night...like who else would be there but us?

I'm a leary sniffer though...it's a hold far away and take a small sniff ... then another one if I can't tell. But when in doubt, throw it out or back in the washer in this case.

this is so funny, and yes, I have sniffed many times!! When you are a Mom, sniffing comes natural, I think. And I've sure sniffed worse than dirty laundry raising four kids and having 5 grands.

my kids used to put the clean clothes back in the laundry because they did not put them away when clean. So yes I sniff everything, that way if it smell clean it got folded and sent back upstairs to their room, I save lots of time and money that way!

My granddaughter was helping me sort the wash and the next thing I knew, she had a pair of her grandpa's underpants on her head. As a hat, before washing. She was only 2 at the time.

Well, we had a cat once that was getting old and would pee in the laundry basket when I had clean cloths in it to fold (and other very annoying places). I had lots of laundry to do while she was alive; and she managed to die of natural causes, too!

The worst was when my Mom (94) was in assisted living, but not in her right mind. All her clothes - clean or dirty - would get stuffed in drawers. To do her laundry I would have to sort through everything - doing the sniff test - to find what needed to be laundered. Ick, Ick,Ick!
