Yes, today is one of my favorite Holidays! LOL Paczki day! I absolutley love donuts, thus the Fat Tuesday, or should I say Fat Qweenie! Hey I honestly believe only fat people can talk about their own weight! I believe its some sort of therapy.
So, with all that said grab a cup of coffee, and a couple of Paczki's and a FEW napkins, and sit at the computer and check out fellow QB"S (Quiltingboard's) not me, Qweenbee's posts and see what everone else is doing.
Take a moment to reflect on how good it makes you feel to be a part of this community, and how you have made others feel, by your talents of quilting or have given advise, or a friendly comment of how well their projects look! ! Have a great Paczki Day everyone! Mmm LOL

Shrove Tuesday here...we do pancake dinner at church; however, I could add Paczki to my list.

Woohoo - thank you so much for reminding me about pancake day!!! I will have to check with my oncologist to see if they are amongst my pitifully small selection of allowed foods, lol.

Down here in L.A. (Lower Alabama) where I am visiting, it is Mardi Gras and the junk-food-du-jour is Moon Pies!! They go crazy for Mardi Gras here - you always hear about New Orleans, but Mobile has almost as many parades, without the Girls Gone Wild aspect.

Where I come from we call them Kreppel, nevertheless just as yummy!

Love them! My in-laws owned a bakery in the 70s and 80s so we were able to eat our fill of Paczki each Fat Tuesday!
