Default Tomato powder

I did a search but couldn't find who to thank for that great suggestion. I ordered some on amazon, organic, non GMO, yada yada, and I've used it twice with great results. Once in burrito bowl along with the salsa and now tonight in beef stew. Really great flavor enhancer. I guess I will play with amounts but plan to add it to lots of things. Thanks again!!

When I had way too many tomatoes last year, I started dehydrating them. The cherry and grape tomatoes, I just cut in half and once dried, stored them in a canning jar. I use them in recipes calling for sun dried tomatoes. For the larger tomatoes, once dried, I put them thru my food processor until they became a powder or close to it. I use it when my sauces are too runny or just to add a bit of punch in my soups. The nice thing about it is, they last for a long time whether you put them into the freezer or like me, into a canning jar and into my cabinet. They won't spoil.
