Carrie: The quilt police do not matter..... your beautiful, generous heart is what counts. And, I will bet there is nothing to criticize anyway. If anyone hurts your feelings, have them call me and I will tell them which way the cows eat cabbages. You are a very special lady to give of your time and energy to this charity, so phooey on any QP who would dare criticize your work. I love what I have seen and think it is wonderful.
    God Bless you, sweet lady.

If you live right smack dab in the middle of quilting country then that makes you the hub. You do wonderful things, you'll raise a lot!

If the QP don't like your quilts, just tell them they don't have to buy anything. Tell them they can just donate money to the cause, that's what the quilts are for, to raise money. However, I think you will do well.

You will do great - Kudos for what you are doing, and if the quilt police say something, let them know what all the money you are raising is going for!!!!

You're doing a great thing here. Don't let it make you nervous. There will be a lot of nice, interested people to talk to and who knows, you might introduce someone to a wonderful hobby. Best of luck to you. Enjoy yourself. :D

You have nothing to worry about. I have seen your quilts on here and they are terrific and sure to sell. Relax and enjoy the day.

You really think the so called "Quilt Police" will make derogatory remarks about quilts for charity? Really? I think your over thinking this. I am betting you will receive accolades rather than criticism.

The (fill in the blank) police will show up no matter what the show is! It's like a Law of the universe or something! I and 2 other women started a printing business and when we first started out we did all kinds of shows - for every (blank) out there who wants to make themself feel better by putting down your work there will be 10 wonderful people who will come up to you and say how great your things are. Just smile at the police and say thanks for the advice and dont look back! sharet

It will go good and hopefully no one will say anything. Let us know how it goes.
