I LOVE Mimom's answer. Which one did you donate? I agree, that should shut them up. Then ask them next year how many they will be donating for the cause. And get their phone numbers and tell them you'll pick them up. They will either run or you'll have more for next year!

You're going to do smashingly, my friend!!!! I don't know how many you have made, but I do know you have been working your heart out for months with determination to do good for others. THAT will be rewarded!!! You are such a giver!! Write us as soon as you can about how FEW you bring home! Those will probably be pink anyway, LOL.

Don't be nervous, and if the quilt police come, as was suggested , ask how many quilts they have done. The economy is tight right now, but it's for a good cause and you are doing a wonderful thing. Sit back and enjoy speaking with the people that stop by and remind them that it's for a good cause. Good luck. Let us know how you did.

I agree. Take pride in the fact that you made nice items for a good cause and are doing this to help. You are not doing this for prizes. If the quilt police do come by, ask them what they've done to help and if they say they've done some, ask if you can come over and critique theirs. :)
