It is hot, our air cond. is out, so I am cooking a chuch roast in the crock pot in the garage! Didn't want to risk putting even a small amount of heat into the house!

Grill, baby, grill!! I grill everything - even dessert. Love grilled angel food cake, grilled pineapple - whatever. There are also way fewer dirty dishes!!!

I have cooked a lot of meats in the crock pot or electric frying pan outdoors. I only have to go outside long enough to check it  it kept my kitchen MUCH cooler.
My George Foreman grill gets a good work out too :D:D:D

Crockpot slow cooker is good - definitely does not heat up the house. Or, if you don't have an outdoor barbeque or grill, you can set up an electric frypan outside - one with a lid. Can even do a roast dinner in it!

I agree with many of the rest who said they love BLTs. So do we, we cook up the whole pound of bacon and freeze the slices in plastic bags. Then take out as many as we need...15 or 20 seconds in microwave and they are ready to put into the sandwich. Or if you have overnight company, serve with eggs any style. Quick and easy.

Another fast dinner we like to make (only 2 of us) is boxed macaroni and cheese. I add two cans of tuna broken up and 1 cup of frozen green peas. Mix all together and you have more than enough for two.
