Congratulations, the baby is adorable. I'd rack up a lot of frequent flyer miles going to the Islands.
I was an only child (adopted). My first two children were girls. When my daughters were teenagers (oldest 18) I remarried and after hearing my father complain for almost 20 years that we had too many little girls and no boys, 30 years ago, both of my daughters and I had little boys (in December, May, and October). My daughters each had another boy before they finally presented me with a granddaughter each. My son has now presented me with seven grandchildren, only one granddaughter in the bunch. So, out of 13 grandchildren, ten of them are boys. I also have 11 great-grandchildren, six boys and five girls. So, out of a total of 24 grand and great-grands, I only have eight girls.
