In Paris there is a quilt shop a lit bit past Notra Dame, will try to find it's website for you. Haven't been to Denmark or Germany but in Amsterdam I did find fabric at the open market and just by chance found a quilt shop along the bus route we took everyday. You are wise to get some info before you leave. May in Jersey

    http://www.lerouvray.com/ in Paris.
Has great French fabrics, toiles and traditional.

Where in Germany will you be?
There's a great shop in Munich

And I'm drawing a blank on the shop in Amsterdam. It's right there and I can't remember it.

And be prepared for some sticker shock at the price of the US fabrics (Hoffman, Kaufman, Kona, etc) on the shelves. ;-)

That's the shop I went to in Paris. The shop in Amsterdam was called Patchwork. I came upon it by chance but don't remember what street it was one. Will take a look in my sewing room as I might have the shop's card in my sewing desk, May in Jersey

Haha! I'm reading your post and looking and posting about the shops in Amsterdam.

But she's going to Denmark!!!!

Sorry, I wasn't quilting the last time I was there. I'm sure a quick Google search will turn up some shops.

    Have a great trip!
