I have the tv on all day, not just when I sew. Its too quite in the house without it.

Music CDs for me. I'm not a big fan of TV!

If something significant is going on I watch CNN; if not, I watch "The Closer" or "House"... sometimes I play a CD and sometimes I love the quiet.

Mostly listen to music (all types) or listen to books on tape.

Depends on the time of day. In the morning, I have the news on. I'll switch to Create TV if I happen to catch the timing right on Fons and Porter or other sewing/quilting shows. Usually turn it off until after lunch time, when instead of TV I turn on Netflix and watch/listen to old Bones episodes. At night, yep, I usually have the TV on. Mostly it's just background noise though.

Nope! MY hubby has it on all the time and it's loud. So when I go out to my quilting room I have no T.V. on and love the sound of my machine!
