Up all night
My daughter is coming home for a visit this weekend soooo here it is 2 AM and I just came back in from cleaning my car! My dishwasher is running, just finished folding and putting away a load of laundry. Can't do too much else because my better half has to get up in 3 hours. I'm jumping out of my skin because I want to finish some things on my list I'm not stressed, I'm having fun but what else can I do that's quiet! I might run to Wally World. No big deal for me though, I usually work 11-7 Any other crazies like me out there?

I could not sleep ever since I had two transfusions when I was 12 years old. They thought I had sleep apnea but I did not. It was restless leg syndrome. Finally I was put on Mirapex. After taking it, I have about 1-2 hours to be awake and then I am out. It's so good to finally 59 sleepless years.

I used to do my best work in the middle of the night when I had the house to myself. That was about 22 years ago since I could do that. i hate to waste a perfectly good wide awake.
Battle Axe - hard to imagine not being able to sleep for so many years.

I am not a sleep person. My Husband is a day person, I am a night person. I could fight it when younger. Being older and retired. I am able to sleep later. When awake I watch TV, don't want to disturb dogs and cats.

I have always been a night owl. My dad was the same way. Morning has always been a struggle for me. When I was working and raising my daughters it was a necessity to get up early - but once I retired it is so wonderful to wake up later and feel awake, instead of dragging myself out of bed. My DH is a morning person, luckily it is not a problem for us. He gets up to to the gym and reads the paper.
In my younger years I would sew long into the night - now I stop around 9 - 10 pm, I don't trust myself after that to cut anything. That's when I usually check my e-mail, etc.

I am a night owl also. I do not require more than about 4 hours of sleep. I go to bed between 2 - 3, and am awake by 7. I do like to lounge in bed once awake. DH is a morning person, up and wide awake once his eyelids open. He's in bed by 10 every night. Most of my housework is done late at night. Now that DH is hard of hearing I can even vacuum late also!
