One year and about a week. Just past the warranty. When I took mine in the repair shop said they get more HPs than any other brand. One of my friends had problems with hers also (don't remember anymore what was wrong, just thought she happened to get a lemon at the time). Hers was also a very short time before hers went bad - less than 2 years. Like I said I really do hope yours lasts. Really. Hopefully you got lucky and got a good one and it lasts you till you want a new one.

Me too. But I did make sure I got the 3 yr warranty to help with that too. And it has full coverage for even accidental damage. Paid a fortune for the warranty but I know I how it works...we had a desktop a while ago that ofcourse the hard drive crashed 1 month after the warranty was done. :-(
